2 Week Post-Holiday Cleanse

Ok the holiday season is (finally) over!

Now that I have had my fill of chocolate, alcohol, meats, breads, mashed potatoes, string beans, pies, deserts and four course meals, it’s time to start getting back to reality: NO ONE is supposed to eat this way!

That’s why I am going to rid my body of all the toxins that have built up over the past few months by doing a two week cleanse.

For any of you who have been following this blog you may know that I did a 7-day cleanse about 6 months ago in which I ate nothing but fresh fruits, vegetables, and grains. Let me tell you, that cleanse made me feel AMAZING.

This time I am doing the Food Lover’s Cleanse from Bon Appetit magazine. 2 weeks of eating healthy and feeling glorious!

This two week cleanse is designed with the food lover in mind. No more yucky cayene pepper drinks, strange concoctions and sticks of carrots. No – this cleanse actually has awesome restaurant style recipes!

Meals like:

  • Pumpkin Smoothies
  • Cooked lentils with greek-style yogurt
  • Raspberry hazelnut hemp seed museli
  • Cider glazed chicken with apple fennel salad
